Brian Clark
Director
Brian was Projects Partner at city law firm DLA Piper, focusing on the public & private sector with expertise in procurement and contract management, acting for multiple organisations in central and local government. For the last 10 years, Brian has been successfully championing the adoption of technology in the management of complex contracts.
Dan Healy
Associate Director
Dan is a commercial specialist with extensive experience in the public and private sector. He started his career at BP working as a Contract Manager on offshore oil projects. Dan then worked with the Department for Transport managing the UK’s rail franchise services where he also successfully implemented Sirion. Since joining JCM, Dan has led the management and transformation of a £64m p.a. PFI contract at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust and two PFI contracts at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust with a combined value of £40m p.a. Dan has also worked with the Police ICT Company transforming a broad portfolio of IT contracts, aligning their commercial processes to best practice.
Sarah Armstrong
Senior Consultant
Sarah’s professional life started as a Projects’ lawyer training and qualifying with an international law firm, advising on PFI schemes and other forms of public/private partnerships across a range of sectors. For the last 10 years or so, Sarah has had various in-house roles focussing on commercial and transaction management, negotiating and overseeing complex corporate, finance, development and operational arrangements, including managing varied stakeholder interests.
Geoff Neild
Senior Consultant
Geoff has had a broad career spanning both the private and public sectors. He was in the NHS for 20 years, the majority of this period within Estates and Facilities; his final role was a four-year tenure as a Programme Director where he led a £150m capital development programme, which included a mix of new builds and refurbishments.
Geoff’s sector experience covers manufacturing (engineering, food, and building materials), retail, the service sector, and the NHS. Whilst he started his career as a mechanical and electrical fitter, his work life took him from being on the shop floor to leadership roles, production management, Human Resources and, latterly, Estates and Facilities with a bias towards capital development. His CV includes well-known employers such as Rolls-Royce, Thorntons, and British Gypsum.
Nia Clark
Consultant
Nia is an experienced contract manager who has worked with complex contracts within large acute NHS hospitals including patient transport, pathology and private patients. Her programme management experience covers high profile central government projects including working with the Department for Transport to implement technology to manage rail franchise agreements and a joint DfT/HMRC road pricing scheme. She is currently providing Contract Management as a Service (CMaaS) to Kent Police.
Marta Vélez
Consultant
Marta is a strategic leader with deep experience in operations, HR, and business growth within the food and hospitality industry. At Itsu, she managed 55 stores and an £80M operation, opening 30 new locations while ensuring brand consistency. She also led HR for over 1,200 employees, launching the itsu Academy and enhancing performance and reward systems.
Kate Northey
Project Manager
Kate is an experienced Project Manager with a background in delivering complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers and workstreams. She supports project delivery by coordinating teams, managing schedules and budgets, and providing clear, structured reporting to senior stakeholders.
Kate is known for bringing clarity across complex activity, keeping teams aligned on priorities and dependencies, and supporting effective decision-making across projects delivered in the UK and internationally.
Kat Tancock
Consultant
Kat brings an abundance of knowledge in contract management and PFI compliance, leveraging a significant background with Kent Police and her latest role within a PFI asset managed service provider, in which she managed a variety of different projects.
She specialises in the meticulous oversight of complex service agreements, monitoring of KPIs and ensuring statutory and contractual compliance is achieved by all parties.
Her skills also include effective stakeholder management and exceptional communication skills, providing a crucial role in fostering positive interactions and collaboration to achieve mutually, positive results.
Roz Edridge
Business Administrator
Roz spent many years working in local government across a wide range of disciplines including destination marketing, economic development and communications. She then focused on the e-government agenda, developing the process re-engineering, change management and technology that supports business and digital transformation and the adoption of cloud software.
Her skill set also includes project and programme management, data analysis and client relationship management via business partnering. She procured and managed a range of contracts from small and local, to large and national, suppliers across a range of contract terms and lengths.
